Cody Stephens, P.E. (Professional Engineer)  

I am native to East Tennessee and was born and raised in the small town of Oneida. The area is best known for the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area with miles of beautiful hiking and kayaking. ​The values of honesty and transparency that were taught to me in the small rural town I grew up in are values that I strive to carry with me throughout my professional career.

It is my responsibility as an engineer to produce designs that are both efficient and feasible. My goal is to build trust with each client by providing transparent communication, while ensuring that both safety and efficiency are at the forefront of each design. The profession of engineering is based on solving problems. When those problems arise in any project, I believe that having someone you can trust is one of the most important part of choosing an engineer.

After graduating high school, I spent several years working in both remodeling construction and concrete construction. I then decided to pursue a degree in engineering, and I enrolled the University of Tennessee where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration of Structural Engineering and Construction Managment. After graduation, I worked as a Structural Engineer in both the Knoxville and Sevierville, TN area while continuing at the University of Tennessee for my Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
